VirusAdapt - HacknRoll 2024 Inspiration: Wanted to model the COVID spread infection on the population.
What it does: Simulation with Netlogo.
How we built it: Small edit to a model.
Challenges we ran into: Hard to model after the real life data to encapsulate the real world behaviour. Everyone has real world immunity and preferences.
Accomplishments that we’re proud of: Managed to get code working with a new custom slider for variable change.
What we learned: Some Netlogo code.
What’s next for VirusAdapt
Closer simulation to the real world and explore the possibility of extinction under certain conditions.
